Has practiced in bankruptcy with the firm for 28 years.
Rex Daines graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 1995 with a JD and from Utah State University in 1992 with a BA in accounting and a minor in Finance. Rex is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Districts of Oregon, the Western District of Washington, the Eastern District of Washington and the State Courts of both Oregon and Washington.
Rex started working at this firm as a law clerk while in law school in 1993 and was hired full time once he finished law school and passed the bar in 1995. He has practiced in bankruptcy with the firm for over 29 years.
He married his wife, Heather, in 1993 and has four children, all of whom are grown and out of the house. He lives in Bend and enjoys all the outdoor activities central Oregon has to offer. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing other cultures.
Rex says the best part about his job is driving down the road and seeing a business that is still operating because he was able to help the owners restructure their debt or seeing a home that was set for foreclosure but he was able to help the owners reorganize their debt and save the family home.
Everyone was very helpful and kind. Bankruptcy is a hard decision to make, and this office made it very easy. When I lost my job, I still owed money towards the fee and they were kind enough to tell me to take my time, no pressure. I am very pleased with whole experience. Thank you!
