Darren Gee was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2018. After working as a legal assistant for three years, Darren attended the University of Oregon School of Law. While there, he served on the Board of the Oregon Review of International Law, Law of Intellectual Property, and the Law and Entrepreneurship Student Association.
Before becoming a bankruptcy attorney at OlsenDaines, Darren worked as a judicial extern twice at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court District of Oregon. His time externing with the bankruptcy judges opened his eyes to the complexities of bankruptcy as a practice. He hopes to use his experience to assist those struggling with financial difficulties.
In his free time, Darren enjoys running, watching football, and attempting to amuse his cat.
It was truly a pleasure to work with the whole team at OlsenDaines. I was filled with a lot of fear and shame when I made the first call, but I immediately felt so supported and reassured. I found through this process that many many people experience bankruptcy for so many reasons, and there is truly nothing to be ashamed of. Special thanks to Dana, Jen, Katie, and Bradley. I'm so glad I put my trust in this firm.
